Track A

The Track A program includes:

  • Assistance with the application process
  • Resume and cover letter guidance
  • An orientation before you start your internship
  • Ongoing support and facilitation
  • A final symposium presentation on your internship experience (with cake)

Through Track A, you are able to apply to multiple employers with one application and is a great way to connect with multiple employers in a relatively short amount of time. This is also a good track for students who do not already have a specific internship/organization in mind, are looking for an experience that fits well in one semester, and/or would like a bit more assistance with the internship process. Students participating in the CoS Internship Program Track A will automatically receive a cord at graduation. They may also opt to earn credit for their internship experience. Earning university credit is not required for participation and differs by major.

To participate in this track, you must:

  • have a declared College of Science major or be majoring in BUS within the College of Science
  • have at least 30 credit hours completed (transfer credit counts)
  • be in good academic standing
  • be currently matriculated at the time of application
  • NOTE: employers can set their own qualifications as well. Just because you meet the above criteria does not mean that you are qualified for all the participating employers. Read each posting to determine additional requirements, if any.

Before applying, we recommend you first view the available internships and see which ones look interesting to you and will help develop your skill set. You are encouraged to apply to more than one posting to increase your chances of successfully securing an internship.

To apply, simply click on the application button below and fill out all of the required information. You will also need to submit your unofficial transcripts, a resume, and a cover letter for each position you would like to be considered for.

We want you to have the opportunity to intern and are here to support you! If you have any questions about the process, need help with the application, or want some guidance on your resume and cover letter, email internships@csme.utah.edu or schedule an appointment using the link at the bottom of the page.
